In November of 1998, a local Hawaii Sports Show was created by Alex Reinprecht and Cortney Chambers. They called it "HAWAIIAN X-TREME SPORTS TELEVISION".
Last Minute CPR & First Aid heard about this show and saw the pilot version of this show. After negotiating with Alex and Cortney, Last Minute CPR & First Aid decided to be one of the six original sponsors that would open up the show.
In December of 1998, Hawaiian X-treme Sports Television aired on Oceanic Time Warner Cable TV Channel 16. The sports and athletes the show covers include surfing, skateboarding, windsurfing, skydiving, motorcross racing, dirtboarding, and more.
Great music, clean editing, and top-notch film footage is why Hawaiian X-treme Sports Television has been Hawaii's leading extreme sports TV show since 1998.
Hawaiian X-treme Sports Television films and edits the commercials of Last Minute CPR & First Aid with Last Minute CPR & First Aid creating the dialogue and also directing the commercials.
Last Minute CPR & First Aid began showing its CPR / Choking Commercials which started off with its signature drowning commercial (1998). This commercial introduced the viewer to the steps of Adult CPR. A comical choking commercial with its steps of Adult Choking was the second commercial (1999).
The third commercial (2001) displayed the CPR with AED use and highlighted three of the four American Heart Association Adult Chain of Survival Links. These links includes Early Access (Call 911), Early CPR (Perform CPR), Early Defibrillation (AED Use), and Early Advanced Care (EMS Ambulance Arrival).
The Last Minute CPR & First Aid Clothing Line "Hawaii Made Clothes" (Hawaiian Scrubs) makes this the number four TV commercial (2005). Because of the excellent filming, editing, and music mixing by Hawaiian X-treme Sports Television, it was entered in the 26th Annual 2005 Telly Awards and it won a Bronze Award in the Use of Music Category for TV Commercials. It was also entered in the 2005 Davey Awards and it won a Gold Award in the Use of Music Category for TV Commercials. The fifth commercial (2010) shows vintage shots of the 1st signature drowning commercial from 1998, as well as, information about the Old CPR Guidelines (Airway, Breathing, Circulation – ABC) and the New CPR Guidelines (Compressions, Airway, Breathing – CAB). It is now the current TV commercial regularly shown on TV and more TV commercials will be developed in the future.
Thanks to Hawaiian X-treme Sports Television, the public has become more aware of CPR / Choking Techniques through the Last Minute CPR & First Aid Television Commercials.
Hawaiian X-treme Sports Television has consistently promoted CPR / Choking awareness and they feel that more lives can be save through these television commercials. For this reason alone, Last Minute CPR & First Aid continues to sponsor Hawaiian X treme Sports Television since December 1998.
